BT Magazine
Mr. V. A. Drew, the CEO and the creator of BT
(Bio Today), a nationally recognized magazine,
wants to expand his reading audience by making
a science magazine that will appeal to the young
adults. He is considering young writers that will
have a fresh new approach and ideas, to some of
the breaking discoveries and concepts that is
currently happening in our world.

As you know, changes in Science occur
everyday---even as we speak right now. The need
for BT becomes so very important, as we attempt
to keep our young readers as up to date as
possible with this fast changing World we live in.

He is preparing to launch this new magazine,
that will be targeting the young adult readers, and
he has decided that only young adult writers are
the only ones that can get this done. If your ideas
and articles are above and beyond his
expectations, then will not only your article be
posted on the World Wide Web, but you will be
generously rewarded as well.

A current event is a story that is in the news.
What makes a story "current" is that it is recent
or late breaking information. The topic for your
article has been in the news no more then one
year ago up to today's date. Since this magazine
is being marketed to the young adults in United
States, the topic and the information you present
in the article, should be based on events that are
occuring within the United States.

The following are some categories and just a very
brief list of some very general current event
topics. Choose a category that is most interesting
to you and one that you might have a strong
opinion about. This will ensure that your article
will be both interesting to you and also to our
readers. By having a strong opinion about your
topic, you will be able to present the pro's and the
con's about the information in your article. You
are not limited to any of these current event ideas,
however, any current event you choose must be
related to life science. Only one of our young
writers will be accepted to write on a specific
topic. As soon as you possibly can, you will want
to inform our Senior Editor on what the topic for
your article will be, so that you will be the only
writer for that topic.
