Organizations that Make a Difference

in Our World

This page has a variety of organizations that encourage all of
us to get involved. Many of these organizations have a "cause"
or a mission, and they are very dedicated to. As I have said
earlier in my "philosophy comments"----we all must get
involved and do whatever we can to help our World. These
groups are just a few that have taken up the "charge" to help
our world.

Sierra Club

The Sierra Club is concerned with a wide variety of
environmental, plant, and animal conservation issues
throughout the United States

Earth Island Institute

An organization that has over 30 different grassroots
environmental and ecological issues that they are
involved in. ("Save the Orca" is just one of these
causes).

WWF Conservation Action Network

Dedicated to a variety of animal advocate issues. (Dolphins,
manatees, and turtles are just a few of these animals)

American Bird Conservatory

This website is dedicated to a wide variety of conservation
issues that affect a wide variety of birds. (Examples are the
albatross, migratory songbirds, and seabirds.)

Atlantic Salmon Federation

They are dedicated to the conservation of Atlantic Salmon.

Defenders of the Wildlife

This site is dedicated to saving a variety of animals.
(Examples of animals are wolves, bears, and dolphins.)

Wild Canada Action Network

This site is dedicated to the endangered animals of Canada

Save Biogems

This site is dedicated to the endangered species of North,
Central, and South America (An example is the "Spirit
Bear")

Green Peace

This organization is dedicated to a wide variety of
environmental and ecological issues.

Big Cats Care2.com

This organization is dedicated to the preservation of big
cats, pandas, and rainforest

National Wildlife Organization

Dedicated to a wide variety of biodiversity endangerment.
